Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and members of the community cleaned up the stream and woodlands near St. Theresa's Church.

North Reading Girl Scouts enjoyed helping to set up for the Annual Relay for Life cancer fundraiser.

The North Reading Girl Scouts are involved in many community service projects:

Meals on Wheels
Each week, troops use their cookie money and dues to make 40 homemade gifts for Meals on Wheels recipients.

Food Pantry
Troops collect food and make holiday food baskets to keep the food pantry stocked.

Relay for Life
Helping to set up the annual Relay for Life cancer fundraiser has become a recent tradition that began in 2005.

Other Projects
Individual troops organize their own service projects in addition to participating in townwide projects. Some of these projects have included collecting new/barely used toys and children's items for needy children, sending cookies and cards to soldiers, environmental projects and participating in the Ipswich River Park clean up.
