at least every other year. Troops have an opportunity to experience
camping with the support of older, more experienced troops.

NYC Trip

Juniors in grades 4 and up visited New York City in October
'05 during the Mother/Daughter Girl Scout trip to NYC. It
was a blast!

Marching in the Memorial Day Parade to show our Patriotism
is an annual Girl Scout event!
*A new tradition of providing transportation for disabled
or injured girls in a Patriotically decorated truck began
in 2005.

Top Sellers

Each year, the Top Selling Girl Scout is awarded a certificate
and a charm. The 2006 Top Sellers tied at 490 boxes each!

Thinking Day
|
|
World Thinking day is on February 22nd to honor the birthdays
of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, the founders of world scouting
and to remember our sister Girl Scouts all over the world.
In 2006, Alycia Downs and Colleen Finnegan organized a World
Thinking Day badge workshop.
